Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 is the spectacular conclusion to one of the most memorable and celebrated
sagas in video games. Developed by Epic Games exclusively for Xbox 360, Gears of War 3
plunges you into a harrowing tale of hope, survival, and brotherhood. In Gears of War 3,
fight on as Marcus Fenix, the grizzled war hero and leader of Delta Squad. Eighteen months
after the fall of the last human city, the war against the Locust rages on. Meanwhile,
deep beneath the surface, a fearsome new threat is infecting the planet from within. With
survivors scattered and civilization in ruins, time is running out for Marcus and his comrades
as they fight to save the human race. The Gears of War series is one of the most popular
franchises in Xbox history, with more than 12 million games sold worldwide, a forthcoming
major motion picture, New York Times best-selling novels, and more.

Gears of war 3 Story Line:

“Jacinto, the last human city, has been destroyed. The Locust Horde has pushed the stranded remnants of humanity towards the brink of extinction, and a fearsome new enemy has risen, threatening to destroy them both. The story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad comes to an explosive conclusion in Gears of War 3.”

Not much is known yet about the storyline. However, what we do know is this; Gears of War 3
has been written by science fiction author Karen Travis! Gears of War 3 is set around 18 months
after Gears of War 2. Gears of War 3 will take place during planet Sera's Summer. Humanity
have been stranded by The Coalition and the planet has gone into dispare.The game has been
said to start on Ravens Nest with Marcus waking up after having nightmares. Ravens Nest is
a aircraft carrier which has been transformed into a floating city/village, it is made up of
old COG ships, which some COG now inhabit. Other floating crafts like Ravens Nest have been
setup for the planet's people to inhabit, after the fall of many land based citys to the Locust.

Gears Of War 3 Multiplayer Overview

Many changes have been made in the multiplayer mode of Gears of War 3, many seem to be
an improvement over Gears of War 2. New players to the Gears of War series which have
never played Gears of War 1 or 2, have died three times or more without a kill while
playing Gears of War 3, will recieve double health and a damage boost for their first
10 kills. This is to give "noobs" or "new comers" a chance to get familiar with the game.
After the 10 kills the player's abilites will return to normal. As current and past players
can remember, when you first start off online, Gears of War has a tough learning curve.
We hope to see a new and improved ranking system, which will allow you to rank up by gaining
XP during games. You will be able to unlock weapon customisation items and skins as you gain
that hard earned XP. Multiplayer should also include "Mutators", these have been seen before
in Epic Game's Unreal Tournament series. Mutators will give players big heads, small heads,  
make them run faster etc. A much wanted feature included will also be dedicated servers, so
hosting a game should not be a problem anymore! Which with any luck should get rid of most of
them old lag issues which we see in previous titles.

Gears of War 3 is belived to have a total of 5 Acts and 31 Chapters in it's Campaign.
Each Act breaking up the chapters info seperate parts of the Gears of War 3 saga.
