You can choose the group of users' computers on which you want to install the package automatically, and the dates and times when you want the installation to occur. SCCM and SMS can install browser software without requiring user interaction, and can install software with administrative credentials even if a user without administrative credentials is logged on. Users do not need to log on to servers or computers that are based on Microsoft Windows NT® to perform updates. This makes SCCM ideal for off-hours distribution or distribution to security-enabled servers. SCCM also provides status reports so that you know when the software has been successfully installed, and, more importantly, when it hasn’t.
